Walkabout Outfitter: Top 100 in Culture
America’s Top 100 Small Businesses
Walkabout Outfitter was chosen for the CO-100: America’s Top 100 Small Businesses in the category of Culture Champions! Walkabout was selected from more than 12,500 applicants by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for impressive growth, innovative strategies, and a commitment to building a strong workplace culture.
This national honor highlights businesses that go above and beyond in fostering positive, inclusive, and purpose-driven workplaces. Out of thousands of businesses considered across the country, Walkabout was selected as one of only 100 organizations whose culture stands out as a model for others.
For two decades, Walkabout has worked to create more than just an outfitter—the owners, Tina and Kirk Miller, built a community. From empowering team members with training and growth opportunities to fostering a supportive, family-like environment, Walkabout’s culture reflects the values they carry into everything they do. That spirit of adventure, connection, and care doesn’t stop with their staff—it extends to Walkabout customers, vendor partners, and their local communities.
Tina, Kirk, and the entire Walkabout Outfitter team is deeply grateful to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for this recognition and remain committed to strengthening a culture that inspires Walkabout employees & their local communities to keep exploring.
